- Set up Wide & Zoom Cameras (manned)
- Use camera on-screen levels and stage reference to level both cameras
- Enable Auto White Balance (AWB)
- Set ISO baseline (200–800), and adjust up to max as needed for lighting
- Deploy Mevos (wireless)
- Interface with house technicians to access and connect Ethernet, audio, and power to Laptop Case
- Plug in router and spread antennas
- Activate SpaceDesk on tablet + laptop
- Test multiview display + camera switching
- Start OBS Timer (30 min pre-show)
- Start Livestream (15 min pre-show)
- Record Wide Camera
- Start OBS Recording
- Watch first routine for ISO/exposure and adjust as needed
- Check focus on both cameras
- Plug in board feed + room mic
- Mix target: 70% board, 30% audience
- Adjust ISO and exposure for each routine
- Zoom Cam: Try and Capture Every dancer’s face at least once
- Maintain proper framing (toes, fingers, jumps, we tend to err towards too tight)
- Zoom out for taller dancers, tighter for tap and littler dancers who wont move much
- Cut on musical beat
- Monitor OBS for warnings/dropped frames
- Monitor audio via headphones or visually
- Ensure songs are not too quiet or peaking on meters
- Stop/Start OBS and Wide for Act BreaksRecord Act Breaks (start/stop OBS)
- Note any issues in checklist/text:
- Stream interruptions
- Client interactions
- Technical errors
- Transition to OBS Blackout Slide
- Stop OBS Stream and Recording
- Stop Wide Camera Recording
- Transfer OBS MKV to SD Card
- Return SD Card to Camera
- Pack Lenses (first)
- Pack Camera Bodies
- Tripods, Mevos, mounts
- Optional: Coil cables neatly
- Double-check gear
- Thank house technicians for their collaboration
